Even if you have an SI, you still won't beat a stock Neon even if the whole white trash family is riding in it to Ryans.

Plus who the hell would sell a car with just as much potential to buy a car EVERYONE owns? You all hate thinking outside the box I see. This is why everyone hates this website. Closed minded fucktards that are more into fitting in then they are being part of the car scene.

    Smashing!

only advantage a honda would have would be Vtech, as mine has stock cams, which are fairly mild, and if it was a gutted hatch, the weight might let it catch up. but when its boosted, good luck with that.
Mine (with homemade intake) pictured above outran Civic SI's (with intake) all day. Mine was a SOHC as well. In fact, three of the seven cars I beat in my championship years in SCCA were mid to late 90's Civic SI's. And my suspension consisted of heated factory springs. Handled wonderfully. Later, QD.

I beg to differ. I also had an RT and an ACR in my class.

I ended up with one, but in the beginning it was made entirely from PVC piping. Later, QD.

This thread is so full of win. I joined onto neons.org a while back and have been somehwat slightly on the hunt for a 1st gen sedan. The 2.4 swap is an all around good idea for many reasons, usually lower miles, and with the 2.0 cams, they can really scoot. The best thing about the neons and the parts are how cheap and plentiful parts are. Shits ridiculous.

If you're going to compare with yours boosted, compare to a boosted Z6 or GSR with upgraded internals... Goodluck...

i have a 1st gen sedan i'd sell ya. its a DOHC auto tho, with really bad paint. bodys strait tho other than one door.

but yeah, the 2.4 responds better to any bolt ons. and are better for daily driving since all the powers down low.
