We yesterday my Jeep tried to kill me. Drivers side front brake caliper stuck and over heated. Ended up seizing in the middle of a left hand corner. I ended up running off the road and slid to a stop in some tall grass. Almost took out a fence but was able to stop it about a foot away from it.
This morning I replaced calipers, pads and rotors on both sides and the brakes feel perfect now. After fixing them I decided to go hit some trails and get her muddy.
I let my brother drive it a bit.
Found some nice rocks and decided to flex her out. This is the max flex for her. I could lift on the rear bumper and it would lift the rear tire off the ground.
Right after the last pic I decided to flex out the driver side and slid off a rock and got stuck on it. The core support was sitting right on the top and my front tires were barley touching the ground. All it would do is spin all 4 tires. Took 3 people jumping on the rear bumper to get the traction I need to get off the rock. I'm the process I bent both the steering bars up against the dif. I used a tow strap and a tree to bend them back straight.
We were on Tray Mt for 4 hours just driving around. Tons of fun![]()
