You go to local car shows. Not big corporate shows. Anyone who has any knowledge of NOPI shows and judging knows that this isn't the place. Now if you're into the whole modified Honda thing and like to go see a bunch of cars and all, it was the place to be.

An example from this past weekend. A judge walked up to Paul's car and asked him if it was a VW. He said he wasn't sure because it had Mercedes wheels on it. Hmmmm. Later, QD.

yea I think a lot of people didn't know what they were looking at. but in their defense nopi used drift pictures to promote it so confusion is inevitable.

Was it fail because every other civic/integra didn't look the same with their rotas and eBay lips and cut springs????? Nopi def isn't what it used to be, but I would def have gone if i knew there would have been wide body/ front end conversions/ originality in the cars that make them diff from one another!!!!!

Damn shame. Damn shame Atlanta can't come together. Everyone pissing on everyone. Looking at this is sad as SELOC used to love going to NOPI and while it had faults there was nothing else like it. Like many here I saw prices go up and judging continue to miss the mark and well, look at what we have. This is in our backyard and its sad to see it like this.

Then I see the cars at the F&F casting and am like WTF? Then IA and its more WTF?

Got cards out and met some vendors.

But QD is right. Local shows are more competitive. Make your way through a season of Atlanta Car Shows.

Nopi needs to return to the old school one big show in Lakewood or AMS that's it with the SS tour legs leading the way to the venue.

yea i was really upset i missed this until i heard all the horror stories about this years show? i thought they used to always do it in sept and advertised this show waaay more in the past what a let down nopi

they said at the show they wanted to get back in their Sept. spot but I'm guessing they'll have to make a deal with AMS and their "Motorsports Nationals" show they now hold. the show was small and out dated I wouldn't call that a horro story. its exactly what you should have expected it to be.
