yea i do they will be up tonight.

highkey is basically where the foreground or background is exposed 2 or more stops over than the actual exposure than the scene hope that helps at all

I know how to do high key on my point and shoot. The color of the car is set off by the way the background looks.Nice pic. Done right in my book.

Shits real out here. You betta keep a strap and learn somethin'

i doubt it, he couldve just selected the background by selecting the car, then going to select > inverse, and going to brightness and overexposed the image a little.

actually this is just one image. the exposure is only one stop over what the orginal was. i did not want to have blown out sections of the image. the rest of PP. not much though. maybe three four layers at most. very simple to do

hahaha. thanks ok so here we go

bring you image in to PS

next make a blank layer for spot healing or cloning

next i did some selctive color to pull the color of the car out

now i did some desaturation to the window to get rid of the blue/cyan color

now the fun part. i made a channel mixer adjustment layer. make sure monochrome has a check next to it. now this is all on what you want your image to look like move the rgb sliders till desired look. o also make sure the layer blending mode is on SCREEN so it will not be black and white.

also make sure you make a layer mask around the car that you can reuse

next i went in to hue saturation and desatuated everything bout 50 percent mainly the yellows notice by the image above to the one below near the stairs

next i did a minor curves adjustment layer to the background and forground

next for the shadow under the bumper i did another curves adjusment just pulling it down

next i added a minor radial gradient in the upper left corner

last but not least i did another hue saturation and changed the blue hue to a magentaish color and minor desaturation to match the brickyard color

Love the car and a dope shot. Props for trying new things. Only complaint I have is the reflections in the door of the car. Without that this image would be A++.

The key to shooting high key:

    1. Get a car to photograph.

    2. Purchase nuclear bomb.

    3. Place camera in front of car.

    4. Detonate

    5. Snap photo
