    Default A slow start . . .

Bought this off a girl I go to school with about a month ago, drove it home for $450. I have since installed my system, some EG lowering springs (pinch welds are less than 3" from the ground), new fuel filter, vc gasket(tube seals were leaking BAD), plugs, wires, dizzy, cap, rotor, and started on my 2-tone black on y-52 paint job. Somebody along the way slapped on some accord 14's and an accord steering wheel, gives it a nicer yet subtle feel to the interior. Next on the list is a new front bumper (it was wrecked/tapped?), something thicker than a butterfinger for an exhaust, and then finishing the paint.

INSIGHTFUL DIALOGUE ANALYSIS: Actually, Hector, that is not what we call valet parking. Valet parking is where someone parks your car for you. You just pulled your car up to the front of the store and got out. We just call that parking.

Is there such a thing? It is lower than anything I have ever owned, but I don't think it's extreme. Kinda sux that I can't get a jack under it anymore though . . . .

    old springs vs. new

For some reason as much as I have sworn off ever owning another 88-91 Honda, I just can't help but like the 4-door civics. The car is definitely off to a decent start and it seems like you have a pretty good idea what you want to end up with, so you are automatically ahead of 98% of the Honda crowd.

The bumper really just looks (from what I can tell by the pictures) like it has the old "EF bumper sag" going on. It's a little aggravating to adjust back to where it looks right, but you might be able to work with it some. Otherwise I'd definitely hit up Keystone or the like and get a fresh one. Are you going to do anything performance-wise, or is it strictly a DD gas saver?
    Who knows?

I initially am going to keep it as a reliable dd, but eventually a mini-me for a little extra low-buck umph will be thrown in the mix.
