    Default E36 325i Sedan

Nothing special, just the car my girlfriend picked up to do some stuff to. It's turning out pretty nicely, yet still has far to go. So far we've done:

    -Valve cover gasket
    -M3 wheels
-Lowered the front slightly (still going lower)
    -Some PDR
    -Little odds and ends
    -Cleaning the engine bay

    Future stuff to do:
    -New shocks
    -Lowering more
    -Fixing the other oil leak
    -Cleaning/repairing interior
    -Sandblast + paint wheels black
    -M3 front bumper/lip
-Air filter, plugs, fuel filter, oil change

    On to the pics:

From what he was talking about, he's gotta sand blast them, and we're going to make them black. Then we're going to lower it more. And then move on the interior, I want to make the interior black, but dying them will make them look crappy. So I really haven't decided yet.

Sandblast, few coats of primer, wet sand, few coats of black, glitter, and a few coats of clear.

Then no one is allowed to touch them except me. LOL

What? Because the lights can be stripped of the tint? Or because the stock bottlecaps with dry-rotted tires were taken off for M3 wheels with michellins? Maybe the pink calipers that can be stripped and painted black with an hours time? Maybe you like oil leaks and dirt?

Stop being a prick. Just because we didn't buy ultra EDM piss yellow lights and put some BBS on it, doesn't mean it's ruined. GTFO my thread.

Lol, stick to Hondas, and hate on all you want on the BBS and whatnot. It doesn't bother me one bit, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

It looks like shit, and hes doing the same thing he did to his hatchback. I wouldn't be surprised if he starts cutting out your doors next,

I've had more non-hondas than hondas... LOL. Like I said, GTFO. I'm doing stuff to the car that SHE wants. I never would've blacked out my hatchback, but it was primered black right before I got it, so I ran with it.

All the stuff that he has done to my car, is what I wanted. I asked him to do it. Sorry.

Thanks man! We understand the blacking out isn't everyone's cup of tea, but not only is it not their car, but it's easily reversible.

I just don't understand the whole blacking out the headlights and taillights thing. Why risk a major safety issue for looks?
Otherwise the car looks decent. A set of M3 front and rear bumper covers will help out a ton.

No inspections or emissions around here, so there's not much of an issue concerning the lights. If she happens to get pulled over, we simply strip them, smoke them, and call it a day.

I'm talking more about her not being able to see at night or someone not being able to see her. Also note that should someone rear-end her due to them not being able to see her brake lights, they can legally sue you/or her for the alteration of the taillights. I'm not picking on you, just giving you a headsup.

The guy we got them from was in the middle of chemically stripping them, when he "had" to put the coat of gunmetal on them, to put them back on the car. So the gunmetal paint is REALLY bad. I have access to a sandblaster, so why not

Totally understand where you're coming from. As tinted as they are. I, and those around me can see when I hit my breaks, and I can see perfectly clear when I am driving in the dark.

Understandable, but I can see clearly in the dark, and people behind me can as well. If that was the case, that no one can see me, then that's when they would be stripped.
