It was at one point. Then Ray's motor blew up, and we built it out of my previous 7 and his shell. There was so much love in the build of this car. This one had the most sentimental value in it BY FAR. It's definitely totaled. Insurance companies think these things aren't worth jack-shit so I'll probably get like a $600 check for it, then I'll spend half of it buying the car back just because the mods on the car are worth more than the damn thing itself, then with $300 or so try and figure out what to do..... probably build another one out of this and a clean rolling shell(AGAIN).

^^ Yeah, I drew a frame of a man running on each fan blade. That is him running at idle

Look on craigslist, eBay, AutoTrader, and anywhere else you can think of. Find some 7s like yours with similar mods in similar condition. His insurance company owes you for everything on your car. Your own insurance can deny coverage on mods you didn't tell them about etc etc, but his owes you for everything in the exact condition it was before the accident. I doubled the original offer for my CRX this way.

You bring up an interesting point. Only MY insurance company can deny mods on my car adding value(due to absence of their mention on my policy). I looked up the NADA value for my vehicle at $3,200 and I looked up every mod still in production and printed screen shots of their value when new. The total price of all the mods in new condition is roughly $3,000. So with all the evidence, I can possibly get depreciated value of the mods added onto the NADA's figure of $3,200 (I've also printed out) and make enough money from the case that I am in a car that actually matches the value of my old 7 in terms of cleanness and speed. Perhaps a nice second gen or another "nearly perfect" first gen like mine. Thank you for this information, I think you may have just saved me from building ANOTHER 7 out of a bare frame and incredibly damaged parts car, which was fun yes, but a HUGE hassle and use of time.
