I know I've crashed 3 Rx-7s but this was NOT MY FAULT.

Here is the whole story.

Last night, 4-22-2010, at 11:30 I was sitting at a redlight alongside an Acura at Lavista and Northlake Parkway waiting for the light to turn green. After waiting fro about 30 seconds or so, I look in my rearview to see a fast approaching set of what looked to be Ford Taurus headlights, it was at about the 1.5 bus length distance that I realized this person was not slowing. I let off the brake and put the gear lever in first, hoping to quickly turn right at the light and get out of the way, but I didn't even get the opportunity to let the clutch out, I was hit. After being pushed into the intersection, I was now in danger of getting side swiped. I put it into 2nd, and rolled through the intersection to the other side, and immediately pulled off of the road. As I was getting out of the car and getting the police on the line, the light turned green. The Ford Taurus took off with tires squealing, and the Acura, my only witness, left as well. I had been fucked in a hit and run case.......... Until the cops showed up about 10 minutes later. "Are you the gentleman who just called in about being hit? "Well, yes, I am, but I don't think you can help without the other guy." And then I got wonderful news. "Oh, we think we might have found him, there was a man in an Acura who saw the whole thing and followed him then called us to get him, we've already got it settled, now we just need you to describe the vehicle......

And now I am unsure of what will happen, or how I will get into a different Rx-7, (I doubt this one is getting fixed, they total soo easily due to being worth jack shit). I am pissed though, I JUST built this car not even 6th months ago from a different crash. The car still drives but the door doesn't close smoothly, so I think there is frame damage.

And my nose hit soemthing, I think my head went back and my nose hit the roof of the car.
