This is what I planned on doing to my old 67 Firebird until someone stole it. I was on their site when it first started and it was called G Machines. Those guys pretty much forced companies to make certain parts for their cars with all the demand they created. Detroit Speed had the market on lock for a while until other companies starting popping up with quality parts. My favorite one back then was the car below. The guy that owned also developed a paddle shift kit for the GM transmissions that everyone was installing at the time.

i had a 77 trans am that i wanted to do the same mods to, its just so expensive to do. checkout the b.r.e. trans am from year one. that was the direction i wanted to go with the build.
