If you ever tried jacking up a car like that with a plain old jack you would understand why he most likely opted for the air jacks. Jacking a car like that up with a floor jack is not a one person job and gets risky to a certain point.
Oh trust me I've had my fare share of jacking up cars that low or lower. It's not that bad and air jacks are not a horrible idea but...just seems overkill on a street car. lol
