Btw, with these drawings, you can see all of Honda's great contributions to F1.

1st. The 1965 horizontally opposed V12 F1 setup that was later copied by Lamborghini in the Miura.
2nd. The RA167 1.5L V6 Twin Turbo that won the title in 87 and 88
    3rd. The RA109A 3.5L V10 which won the title in 89 and 90
    4th. The RA121E 3.5L V12 which won the title in 91.

Hence why Honda should stick to making F1 engines.

Wanted to point out there was an error on the website i found the drawings on.

In the decription this is listed as Bobby Rahal's 1995 Penske PC22 Honda.

That is impossible as Bobby Rahal and Hogan racing introduced Honda to Indy Car racing in 1994 and the chassis was a Lola T9400. The engine itself was the HRX Indy V8.

In 1995 Bobby ran a Mercedes Benz powered Lola and used the #9.

God i miss the good days of Indy car racing when Penske chassis went against the Lolas and Reynards. You also had real engine wars between Honda, Ilmor Chevy, Porsche, Ford, Alfa Romeo, and Cosworth. Not the horrid spec car nonsense we have today with this useless Dallara which makes F3 cars look like a better option.

I can't wait till the Indy group finds a new solution to this as the current formula is ruining the sport.

I stumbled across that one the other day at work on Google images. I can't even remember what I was searching for, now... But I saw this thread and went "Ooh, ooh, ooh, I got one!" lol.

When I was at the Ferrari store at the dealership in Vegas they had a decommissioned V10 F1 engine on a stand. I wanted to make love to it and take it home but that $45k price tag on it made me leave it there.

Wanted to post some more from Tony Matthews

Again, the old Indy cars can make certain F1 cars look tame.

F1 cars looked so much better during the wide track era.
