Also my car came with all forged internals and a Garrett t-3 stock. exacty what pinto ever came with that? GTFO......just wondering, what do you drive? 2nd note, the cossie has 204hp and not as much tq. due to its smaller displacement.

1) Read the first quote. Do you not claim the Cosworth has a DOHC 2.0L with a smaller turbo than your 2.3 SOHC? My bad, the Sierra had 12 different engines but the Sierra Cosworth only had the 2.0L but with several different turbos, the most powerful model being the RS500 Race version with over 500hp. I'm guessing you're pushing 400hp with a 20g?

2) Are you saying 2.3L SOHC Merkur engine is not a version of the Ford Pinto engine? You know, like the engine found in Ford Pintos and like the one still used today in Formula Fords.

1) The first comment implied he owned a Sierra Cosworth. The exact car Stig is referring happens to be a 550hp Sierra Cosworth RS500. If the Stig said he liked a Honda Integra Type-R or a E30 M3 Sport Evolution I wouldn't come in saying Stig likes my cars...ya know. Then tells me he has the "American version of that car" like I don't know what a Merkur is or wouldn't know the difference between a 170hp Merkur [stock] and a 500+hp BTCC RS500 Cosworth.

2) As for the Merkur...I know it has potential. I died laughing the first time I saw the aluminum heat sink on the intake manifold that was supposed to be a sufficient substitute for an intercooler though.

3) I merely stated the Merkur has a Pinto engine then I'm told I don't know what I'm talking about if I think that's what it is. It is a Pinto engine but did I even say anything negative about them or it's variants? From 1974-1980 the Ford Pinto had the 80-90hp 2.3L engine. Merkur took it, upgraded the internals, and put a turbo on it doubling the hp.

Am I being critical or am I just keeping it real? BTCC RS500 Cosworth > Merkur XR4Ti
