    the motor in the car isn't the 1700 hp one the one on the stand is correct? I haven't seen one of these in a hundred yrs haha! it looks like a Cressida/Maxima from the mid 80's

    I just spent about half an hour clicking on people sigs.... I wish we had the same focus' over here.

    there isnt much different about US focus and Uk focus besides the RS, the main thing is the engines in them. still FWD, same chassis.. they just do to them what they are supposed to.

    besides the motor, and transmission its the same focus chassis we have. LIke a Type R Ep, and a Si ep.. you can build an RS in the states, swap in a volvo 5cyl turbo motor.. and the suspension setup..and go at it! The focus overseas isnt a mythical beast. Ford just keeps the focus a economy mobile in the states. Focus is has been and still is a european built car!

    Alot of euro fords were sold in the states, we just dont appreciate them as much.. in the Uk Australia etc.. they love their fords. But than again they do get them in better configurations, and all the cosoworth models..so that helps...lol

    We had a MK2 Granada when i grew up.

    I can remember helping my dad do a motor swap in it. They were a beast of a car.
