Wheels and tires are in. Yessir!
And this is actually an upgrade. These are 13" x 5.5 Carroll Shelby wheels to be wrapped with Sumitomo HTR200 175/50-13 tires. Taking the tire shop now to have the tires put on. Later, QD.

you spendin too much money on that car. sell it and get a Civic.
small tire is small.
Woot! For upgrades. I've never bought brand new tires beforelol
Awww so cute lol.
What was on there before??
Cool! I didn't know you could get 50 series tires for a 13in rim.

I just checked tirerack to see what kind of selection is available for that size and that was the only one on there. Are they hard to find locally? On the plus side those things are dirt cheap. You can get a full set for the cost of one of my tires.![]()
Tire Rack is where I got them. $245 for all four shipped to the house. Ordered them Saturday night and they just got here. I'm sure there are places that can get them, but for the price, tis cheaper. There is also a 215/50-13, but that would be too wide for my rim to look right. Later, QD.
Same as a Festiva's, holla holla! Those things are getting hard to find now. Acceleration is going to be much quicker since they are that much shorter.
I see a blue cvcc growing into the earth every time head out to Blankets Creek to mountain bike. Always think of you when I pass it lol.
Kevin
Wheel, rim, same thing really. I say whichever comes to mind first. And yes, I am progressing towards something. I am "restoring" the car to mostly stock with a few accessories. Later, QD.
Yeah, the acceleration will be a bit more, but I don't drive the car that fast. Are you sure it's a CVCC and not just a regular Civic? Later, QD.
Oh........ I forget all the different models and such now that I have been out of the mini/micro car thing for awhile. It looks just like yours. Does that mean it could be a cvcc or civic? I know it is your body style, and it might even have a roof rack. I'll figure out the exact loction and send you the google earth info next time I pass it.

Thats a pretty sweet old school honda...I dont know if its still there but the Honda dealership in athens had a nice old one (similar body but it may have been a civic and not a cvcc though).

The Civic came in two trim levels in the 79s. The 1200 and the CVCC. The 1200 had a 1.2L engine and the CVCC had the 1.5L engine. They are both Civics. My gas mileage is good. I fill up once every 2 - 2 1/2 weeks. Takes about $12 from empty.
You talking about with the wheels and all?
Exactly. I love little bitty wheels, lolol. Later, QD.
Make sure you post this in the Wide Rubber thread
I just wanna get some behind the scenes photos....i was super excited when we talked at luby's and still am.
