I miss being 8 years old and having Lambo posters as wallpaper.

It was a black Countach with Gold wheels right? I think I had that exact same one. And I also had a huge 959

My parents' had this poster up in the waiting area at their stereo shop when I was growing up, I would stare at it instead of reading my summer reading books every year. I was completely in love with this Countach. I went into a stereo shop the other day to drop something off and noticed all of my adored cars in the old Alpine advertisements, I don't know if anyone caught me reminiscing on all of my childhood in the middle of their shop, but I didn't care.
Sadly, this poster wasn't there, of course it was never an Alpine advertisement, but it was the pinnacle of the Lambo montage of my youth, it was what quintessential dream for a little boy growing up in the middle of nowhere in Mississippi, it was everything else in the world that my little town could never be, that's why none of us bought a poster of a Honda Civic, Scholastic knew where the dreams were.
There is nothing wrong with loving an exotic, it's just that we have all succumbed to the fact that we will most likely never own one, it's a little disheartening. Our energies are now spent trying to attain more feasible dreams, and I guess there is nothing wrong with that either.

My friend Kevin moved out of his house that he always had growing up and took his posters with him and put them up in his new house in his Guest bedroom. I remember getting tons of Lambo posters at the school book fairs.

I always had Porsche, dealers at one time would make custom posters of a 911 jumping and the tag would say your name so that was on my wall for a while. lol

    I actually had this.

Used that notebook all the way through middle school too. I got laughed at for having a Trapper Keeper, but NO ONE else had an exotic sportscar on their notebooks

Funny how those 80's posters were what introduced us to the Ferrari vs Lamborghini war.
