My dad had a 928, and it was awesome. So yay from me.

I'd like to it pull more from 918 maybe (front fascia (as much as they could pull from an MR design)), and less Panamera coupe in the rear.

Good start...I mean I'd love to see another front-engine coupe by Porsche. I really liked the 944.

I love the idea of a new 928 but this example I'm not liking, I do like the rear hatch section though it looks back to its roots.

Anyone find it coincidental that a front engined Porsche is likely to be based on the current Panamera when this 928 rendering has body arches resembling the 1989 Porsche Panamericana concept?

The best of the front engined Porsches was the ultra rare (14 made) 968 Turbo S of 1993/1994.

I'd have it over certain 911s.

The Turbo RS was the race version of which 5 were ever made.

For the next front engined Porsche, these two should be the main inspiration as they were great drivers cars.

I have always liked the 968 over the 944. But the concept needs a little more work on it IMO. It seems likethey are trying too hard. Less aggresive body lines and they are set!!!!!

I love pop-up lights, but there are many reasons they'll never come back.

They really have no reason to come back. The motors are heavy and inefficient, new crash safety regulations won't allow them, and lighting designs are much more efficient and won't require the hideaway packaging of pop-up lights. Upcoming LED headlights are going to allow headlight housings to be much smaller overall. I'm interested to see how those designs would look now that I think about it.

Really? 968/968 Turbo S/RS a great driver car? Stop googling and get on the track. 968's are overweight 944's. 968 Turbo S is a high strung, unreliable peice of crap - folks thought the 951 was unreliable...LOL, RS - there's a reason only a handful were made.

Best driver car as far as front engine Porsche's go is a 944.

A great all around car, and the best front engine Porsche ever made is the 928 GTS. You can go 180mph with your golf clubs in the back, groceries, and probably tow a 968 RS while you're at it.

Don't let the rarity of those specific 968's fool you.

For the longest time, I thought the 968 was just a new 928. Porsche didn't do a front-engined V-8 after the 928 did they? I'm not considering the Cayenne or Panamera.

If porsche produces that, I will loose all hope.

Just like Richard from Top gear says, Everyone should own 911's!

    Now wait.

Yes i do agree everyone should own a 911 but i don't feel the 911 is the only Porsche.

    The 356, 550, 718, 904, 906, 908, 909, 910, 914, 917, 918 (Yes already), 934, 935, 936, 956, 959, 961, 962, and 987 prove that.

+ When Ferdinand was alive, he made many luxury and various other forms of transport.

A good front engined GT car will fit Porsche perfectly. I feel they've never had a car good enough front engined car to compare to an Aston V12 or a Ferrari V12.
