I've driven a few with a VF39(oem 04-06 sti turbo) and supporting mods. Definitely fun cars and I would assume would have a very rigid chassis, therefore would be a great car to track.

I agree. Whats not to love? Perfect for off road and on road course. Aesthetic mods is what I mainly want to see, but I havent found any bodykits lips kits or whatever. I assume that you could use some from the Impreza with some mods to fit.
I think they sell a v-limited lip that fits. The Outback and the wrx might possibly have interchangeable parts. I would sign up on Nasioc and start a thread in the Outback forum. I'm sure there is a wealth of knowledge on there.

I dont think so. I had a K20A swapped 95 DX. I got to the point where I didnt really like it anymore and dont want to be riding around in one again. It was fun and good but just not my thing anymore.
