I personally do not like this picture...is the subject the girl, the car, or the buildings in the background?, there seems to be no main point of focus. I guess I just don't get what's so special here...the car sucks, girl is ok, lighting is good and very good use of flash, but composition sucks...my

Well, the subject is: the car, the girl and the buildings in the background. It all sets the scene for the mood of the pic. Its comical and surreal, much like what you would see advertising a funny sitcom. I'm trying to catch a character, not simply photograph the fanciest car or the highest paid model. I quite like the composition, but I'm sure that's something I can improve on, it would help if you could point out what you believe to be wrong with it.

Gotcha, I didn't know what you were trying to go for so I was like . One thing about this is that with the biltmore signs being so bright it draws attention to the signs more so than the girl or the car, away from the subjects, which is usually undesirable.

Now that I look at it in the way you described, it does seem to satrically play on the automotive photograghy genre as the car is just average instead of the the typical over the top automobile, and the girl is making a weird face instead of posing sexually.
