I can assure you that you did not gain three seconds from heating your tires due to your "drifting." If anything, you gained the three seconds by not overdriving your car. Also, you would have been kicked out of the event in a heartbeat at most regions for doing donuts or other stupid shit anywhere near the course. It doesn't matter if nobody was around. Antics like that can easily make you lose that location for future events.
