    it helps with drifting how? i guess less rubber on the pavement = easier to slide and spin, but why not in that case just get a skinnier wheel? or add more power to spin off a set of 245s? Just questioning. Not judging anythign anybody is doing. To each their own.

    when you stretch a tire it stiffens the side wall, therefore it pretty much eliminates sidewall flexing.

    o ok. the next question. why is it that majority of the "stretched wheel" cars i see are front wheel drive if its for drifting? lol

    FITMENT. I couldnt fit my wheels on my car without a little stretch. but i drive a civic, its slow so why not make it look good.
