also, you guys have to keep in mind, the rotary had only been in production road cars for 4 years, and had only been in existence for about 6. Hardly any R&D for the platform yet. These engines did NOT last long due to lack of long term knowledge and improvements over years. This is like an engine from 1904 still running in 1943.
