ha damn. How did you like that?

I'm actually going to be in the market for new tires soon and can't decide if I want to lower the car a bit and go to a 215 or keep the ride height the same and stay beefier.

Stretched tires has ZERO purpose. THAT's the difference. I'll post my pics of some 335's tonight.

Stance kids/hardparkers = hipsters of the car community. Trend fags that were all up on some JDM shit 4 years ago like it was a 21 year old virgin with 38dd's...they want you to know they're cool, but don't wanna have to tell you, hence the attitude. Posers like none other, I swear.

    Fronts...255/40/17, 9" wide wheel.
    Rears...275/35/18, 9" wide wheel.

This pic was taken before my alignment, hence why the top of the tire is tucking.

Now some of you may be asking...why stuff so much damn rubber under there, if you ain't making shit tons of power?

Well, your brakes are only as good as your contact patch, and I'll be damned if there's a 215 that will keep these sumbitches from locking down...

This is a very common practice in the muscle-car world.

I'm not on here nearly as much as I used to be, but this is easily one of the most bonerific threads I've seen in awhile. Glad to see there are in fact some people on here with the same taste as me. No pics since the tires, but on my WRX I'm running 245s on a 17x8 wheel and it looks mean (obviously can't hold a candle to some of these rwd cars though).

yeah, it's VERY common. It's too keep it look "stock" from the side but have that nice fat tire in the rear.

They can also narrow factory wheels to 17x5. This guy narrowed stock Mach 1 wheels and widened the rears from 8" to 10.5" http://www.weldcraftwheels.com/

He said its $250 per wheel

    the 335's are handling 535hp/540tq

the 285's were handling littler under 400 before the n20 & Meth & PSI increase.

Hence why I made a point of saying that my tire sizes are justified by my brake setup. I don't have ABS like most of the guys that have posted in this thread, so I gotta have grip up front, considering that my STOCK brakes were locking down with a 225 up front.

I have no idea what my car was making on #'s though...it had an HKS GT2540R with bigger injectors and a ROM tune. Probably 250'ish on a good day. I'm done fooling with bottom mount T2small setups, so take that however you will...

My 315's are handling about 430 HP at the crank...
I only have high-flow mufflers and K&N Filter though.
