All the drift faggots have taken this car to a new level with the gay pink paint jobs and rocking there scarred up cars from tagging walls while drifting and now everyone that thinks of a 240 thinks of dildo shiftnobs and neon colored paint jobs with crazy offset wheels with way to much tire stretch

Drifting killed 240's although they weren't ever really top of the game anyway.

They only make good drift cars because they are cheap, there are much better options stock to drift with, it's just too many emo fags watch JDM videos of Silvias drifting and say OMG 240 240 240 MUST BUY TO DRIFT.

A stock Miata can drift 395489384u393948393X better then a stock 240.

Drift on track? You mean parking lot? It's true most 240 owners are straight posers. They make their cars look like shit and talk the talk but can't even do an e-brake turn.

Im not so sure about this. With such a short wheel base, miatas arent quite as stable as 240's while sliding. Also the same reason for not seeing as many s2k's in the drifting scene. Short wheel base. At high speeds, you want a stable car.

I never had a problem easily controlling my Miata in high speed turns when the back end would come out. I read exactly what you posted all the time before buying the car and never experienced any of what people say.

You don't see S2K's in the drifting scene because they are a bitch to drive when you're not even trying to drift. Oh and they cost more then a 240.

Well theres a difference between going out for grip driving and having to give quick couter steer inputs at high speeds to compensate for over steer, rather than going out driving and purposely getting the car to slide and holding that slide at a high rate of speed. Miatas are GREAT handling cars, and Im not disputing this. Just saying that they are not as stable in a high speed slide as a 240.

And how many s2k's have you seen run at a professional level of drifting, where money doesnt even matter? Ive seen like 2.lol short wheel base mayne!

Corollas are short wheel base and they usually do fine. I know short wheelbase is harder to control in some cases, but it's far from impossible. When I first bought my Miata I used it for drifting and was surprised how easy and well it could hold a slide especially compared to my 240 I had. It required a different driving style but it's easily manageable and in my case I preferred it.
