Got a new toy yesterday.

I can officially say now that I am back in the import scene. And still a Nissan guy. And a 240 owner again. Anything else? Oh yeah, and another red car owner (I've owned 3, 2 of them Nissans) even though I hate red cars.

So I found this the other day up in Tennessee and 2 days later it was mine :




So what do you guys think? Its dirty cuz of all the gravel that I have to drive down but its still pretty.

P.S. I'll probably be selling the wheels so if anyone wants them let me know.
And the exhaust is a Blitz Nur Spec but its a bit loud so I'm thinking about trading it if anybody has something a bit quieter.

I've been saying this for years. SR is comparable to a Honda engine. KA is way more capable in stock form and I prefer torque over HP most of the time so KA wins on that too. And there is always RB25 that I can do later if I get the itch.

Looks good. I am beginning to like the Zenki a lot more the Kouki now. The more I look at a Kouki the more it looks wrong. The front is too boxed compared to the curves to rest of the car. Zenki has a better flow I think.

Looks good. I am beginning to like the Zenki a lot more the Kouki now. The more I look at a Kouki the more it looks wrong. The front is too boxed compared to the curves to rest of the car. Zenki has a better flow I think.

Thanks guys. Yes it was a good find and it is definitely clean. The interior is perfect, and I mean perfect, original. No torn seats and the first and only factory radio trim I have EVER seen that wasn't broken.
Its also a true SE with ABS and VLSD so its way more fun to drive than my s13 was.

Sorry but I've had enough turboed, 300hp, modded, slammed cars and I want to enjoy just having a nice car that I can jump in and drive for a while. It already has some bolt ons and its plenty fast for me right now.
I also love the stock look of this car so no body mods or anything. I want to find a front lip and maybe a rear window spoiler but thats about it. Maybe some suttle side skirts since I was never just crazy about the kouki skirts.
One thing though. I would have lowered the car if it wasn't already on Eibach Sportlines because these cars are on stilts from the factory. When lowered I like zenkis and koukis and that is really all it takes for these cars to become sexy.

I do have a question for all you 240 guys:
The only issue the car has is the [Service Engine Soon] light is on. I am pretty sure this means I won't pass emissions even if the numbers are good. I have been told that the 4-2-1 headers can cause the CEL to come on but what can I do to fix it?

Very nice. I love gunmetal. I am definitely getting a front lip cuz it looks a bit thin up front without it. I just have to find one.

go to autozone and pull the code your getting....if its cat deficiency then its prolly just the header....you can try to relocate your 02 sensor and see if it stops throwing the code.

really cant tell nothing unless you know what code its getting. your correct you wont pass emissions.

So the more I look around the car the more high priced candy I keep finding.

I was putting on my Motegi wheels today (pics tomorrow probably) and looking under the car I see Whiteline Flat Out swaybars and KYB GR2 struts with Eibach Pro-Kit springs.

Had no idea about any of that stuff and now I am wondering if there are any internals I don't know about. And the more I drive the car the more I think it has an upgraded clutch because it feels just like my Exedy Stage 1 I had on my s13.
