great so far ma.. Its one of the standout Sols on here.. definitely get it painted but idk about that J32 swap.. Im not into the whole motor sticking out of the hood idea, thats some muscle car shit to me.. Plus youd have to raised your car up a bit for ground clearance.. Good luck with the build though, im sure it will be nice eitherway..

If your D series dies, why not just replace it and boost it? Its more performance for your money.

On another note, I actually like your car. Which is uncommon to hear from me since I'm not exactly a fan of Hondas.

I would never do a j swap. I'd just do a boosted d and make the same power with half the weight. And way less hassle.

yeah sheesh! and how long is a damn d series making 300 hp going to last? a day? a week? LOL

the most i've seen a stock d series make is like 230 ish... and that's on 11-12 pounds, which is MUCH higher than i'd feel safe with.

a j32a2 is 260hp & 232 torque. tell me what STOCK d series with a turbo kit makes that ??

if you people havent noticed, i dont give a shit about going fast.

I'd choose the J swap over a boosted D series if money wasnt an option simply because very few people do it, and cheap out and go with the boosted b or d series.

if no one has noticed i like being different yet, you all are blind

I'm not getting into this shit slinging war as both ideas (boosted D and J series) have thir good points. The J swap is goofy as fuck with the horrible fitment, but they do 2 things: Make a civic sound mean, and make a civic MOVE! You will soon see bolt on J swapped civics hitting 11s with good tuning. not to mention all the turbo ones popping up now, and the fact nitrous is only one WOT tap away.
