alright zack lets build airplanes! ... dylan can come too haha
great so far ma.. Its one of the standout Sols on here.. definitely get it painted but idk about that J32 swap.. Im not into the whole motor sticking out of the hood idea, thats some muscle car shit to me.. Plus youd have to raised your car up a bit for ground clearance.. Good luck with the build though, im sure it will be nice eitherway..![]()
Nice build thead, looks good so far love the stance!!
Work in progressneed slicks!

(((((No more 4 door))))))
Sic car, but looked the best with the Nippon wheels
Oooh, sick. I like the polished wheels best, IMO. Very clean car, none the less

CRUDE BUT EFFECTIVE
The car was perfect when it looked like this

What a piece. Both the car and the owner. Not a dime piece either, so don't get that idea.
I would never do a j swap. I'd just do a boosted d and make the same power with half the weight. And way less hassle.

Wreck the thing off a cliff and get a new car. Now that is a project
those polished te37s looked incredible on there. some polished slips would look sick too.
clean car none the less, good work.
BOOSTED "D" IS A WASTE!!!!!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY A GO WITH THE "J" SWAP
yeah sheesh! and how long is a damn d series making 300 hp going to last? a day? a week? LOL
the most i've seen a stock d series make is like 230 ish... and that's on 11-12 pounds, which is MUCH higher than i'd feel safe with.
a j32a2 is 260hp & 232 torque. tell me what STOCK d series with a turbo kit makes that ??

"Output for the light weight 250 lb (110 kg) J30A1 was 200 hp (150 kW) and 195 lb·ft (264 N·m) of torque"
ive seen j32a2s on a shipping scale weigh in right over 312lbs

CRUDE BUT EFFECTIVE
if you people havent noticed, i dont give a shit about going fast.
I'd choose the J swap over a boosted D series if money wasnt an option simply because very few people do it, and cheap out and go with the boosted b or d series.
if no one has noticed i like being different yet, you all are blind
Leng's with me!![]()
any ways back to the build thread...........subscribe
I'm not getting into this shit slinging war as both ideas (boosted D and J series) have thir good points. The J swap is goofy as fuck with the horrible fitment, but they do 2 things: Make a civic sound mean, and make a civic MOVE! You will soon see bolt on J swapped civics hitting 11s with good tuning. not to mention all the turbo ones popping up now, and the fact nitrous is only one WOT tap away.
Nice build!
