    This teeters on 60k civic territory. The engine is an amazing piece but its performance doesnt explain its price. That was 340K pounds btw not dollars.

    yeah i love these.. you can only get them special ordered & lexus is thinking about making you lease them for a certain amount of years before you can even buy them.. we will prob never see more then one : (

    Do you think Lexus is doing this leasing thing to prevent speculators and spiking prices over MSRP? Probably, they don't want someone paying 340k for one and turning around selling it for 450k. That's why it takes two years to get a Scuderia if you haven't really owned a Ferrari, unless you pay 375k.

    I think it's awesome, so much technology and such a beautiful power plant like an exotic car should have. If i'm not mistaken one of the fastest two doors out right now on a track (along w/ ZR1, LP670 SV, Vallention Ballboni, GT3 RS, Scuderia, GTR Spec V etc), so it's not all talk. It's a little pricey, but I believe Lexus thinks they can sell them all for that and i'm sure they will.

    Farrr too much money but it shares nothing with any other Lexus so it's almost understandable. I'm utterly blown away by this car though. Years and years in development has really bred an AMAZING car.

    The "leasing" is a non-traditional type. Lexus just holds the title for two years and then it's your car. Not like you have to return it or anything. I hope I'll get to at least see and hear one of these in person. Thought I'd never see an Alfa Romeo 8C but hey I just saw one a couple weeks back! That gives me some hope.

    Really though, I can't believe I'm so blown away by this car.
