    1981 Olds Cutless + 1982 Regal + 6.6 liters of LB7 Duramax diesel power

http://www.dieselpowermag.com/featur...gal/index.html (Diesel Power Article on David Morad's diesel beast)

With 6.6 liters of Duramax diesel power residing where a turbo'd six-banger should be, David Morad's diesel GN makes more power and gets better fuel economy than the original ever did. The smoothed firewall and custom inner fenders also create the illusion that the engine is floating in a sea of black. Neat.

    Wow. Just wow.

Edit: I might be reading this wrong but in the article it says he started with an 82 Regal/81 Cutlass that was original diesel car. I can not find if these have ever been produced. Can somebody help me out.

I saw a few when I google Buick Regal Diesel. Looks like 82, 83 was the predominant years - but possibly went all the way to 87.
