    A lot of these are just traditionally built hotrods. Flat/matte black paint and whitewalls don't automatically make something a rat rod.

    I think my buddies 54 qualifies as a rat lol He has won 1st place rat all up and down the east coast. Next show is the World Of Wheels, can't wait for that shit!

    they are still all rats, some are RATTIER than others but they still are rats,even though they have paint or look good doesnt count them out as rat rods

    i know what hot rods and street rods and rat rods are. i have been into these cars forever. none of these imo are street or hot rods. but thats my opinion. street rods and hot rods are more modified than these cars. but to each its own. i think they are rats, you dont,just an opinion i guess. either way they are bad ass cars,trucks

    rat rods are not always unfinished projects,or assume to be finished, there are plenty of rats out there with great paint,chrome, highly modded cars, from junkyard parts to completely stock.

    i see these cars and trucks rat rods. thats my opinion and many would agree.some people would just see them as hot rods or street rods. its all an opinion clause.

    my Rat:

    - in a barn since 1974
    - 36K miles
    - rust in all the right places
    - OG magnesium Torque Thrust's, not the made in China TT's
    - Parts occasionally fall off it
    - It smells horrible
    - No key, no seatbelts, no radio, no heat, no AC, 4 wheel non-power drums, no power steering, no side mirrors, and it leaks.
    - Snails live in the trunk.
    - I dont car if it gets a door ding, in fact the more the better
    - You might need a Tetnis (sp?) shot if you brush against it at the mall.
    - 53 Tag is registered
    - Has bodywork done with lead!!!
