I have been looking for the something wrong but just dont see a story or anything. Link x2 please. As for it being old news, who cares. Most people dont much about this engine and how good it really is. The iron block can withhold a lot. You just dont see these kinda swaps much here in the states. It's taking time for the info to spread here, kinda like "ricer" style. The Japanese were doing that well over 10 yrs before we ever began to be popular here.

Yeah, I could understand that. 2JZ will remain a legend, its just nice to see something different. I love the sound of a V8. That is why this swap is so appealing to me. I just want to do it to a SC400. The swap with fabrication, parts, and labor cost as much to rebuild the a 1UZFE so why not. The rest is just opinions on two great blocks.
