LOL, your ridiculous. I would like to know what is the "big issue" with this car. What is bad about it. Not aesthetics but as for the build itself. From what I have read it has been a pretty successful build, maybe a fuck up somewhere down the road after what I have read. That engine is a diamond in the rough. The only thing wrong with it is that the pistons and rods are weak which can be solved with a simple Ross Pistons kit or just replace them with the 1UZFE components.

Yeah, I could understand that. 2JZ will remain a legend, its just nice to see something different. I love the sound of a V8. That is why this swap is so appealing to me. I just want to do it to a SC400. The swap with fabrication, parts, and labor cost as much to rebuild the a 1UZFE so why not. The rest is just opinions on two great blocks.

LOL how in the hell did that happen. I've seen quite a few with ridiculous amounts of power. There was a drag team that had one with +/- 1000rwhp, cant remember the team. I have seen a SC400 on ClubLexus.com with the same swap making more than 330rwhp on a single turbo. This guys build was a fail I guess, didnt see it since there were so many pages to read. Skipped to the end and saw nothing either earlier. Thanks for the link.

You're prolly referring to the Scranton Brothers. They had a pretty nice setup on their drag car.
Right now we're only running on wastegate spring pressure (8psi), and still through the Sp400 it's making 381rwhp. That works out to 545BHP, or 463rwhp through a 6 speed if someone were inclined to apply the equivilent maths. We kept it low because the car has an appointment that it must make on Tuesday, so after that Darin can give the beans.
Then
I'm going to have it dynoed as soon as possible, but I would gues byt he old butt dyno that it's making a good 450rwhp at 8psi now, and we're going to 20psi when we go for power.
Never shows the Dyno numbers. Is this what you were talking about?
