    There was good interview/article in Excellence (Dec 09) with Brian Redman, he talked about racing the 908's and 917's a little bit.

    Yeah, the car started off so bad Porsche's own factory drivers wouldn't drive it at the Nurburgring, they had to bring in outsiders. The car has a very interesting history.
