any type of modding has its expense. whether it be tires/wheels/parts/gas its all the same. its expensive to get these cars to sit like that, and stay in one piece. welding strut towers...

yea the black ls430, and the white gs400, those tires were made for bigger cars. and they do stretch very well. but its obvious its not as safe as a normal fitting tires.

I've seen tires lifted pulling out of a driveway, and I've seen a tire lifted on an autox course...both going less than 40mph! I'm guessing it's more suspension dependent.

If you treat them like a time trial tire you can get quite a few laps, but its got to be 1 warm up lap, 1 hot lap, and 1 cool down lap. Otherwise they cook themselves...on a Subaru anyway. Thats the only thing I've tried it with.

Last I checked the A6's were for autox (softer and lower temps).
Hell I used R6's just to get more events out of them at the expense of a couple tenths.
