That should just be common sense.

It's not that they are bad cars, it's that every swinging dick in the land has one and thinks it's a racing car. So it stands to reason, that every OTHER swinging dick inthe land, wants their Honda faster. So the law of averages is much higher that your Honda is gonna get ripped off.

And since EVERYONE does the SAME things to them....Lip, wheels and springs....how the hell can you tell whose is what.

^^^^true to a certain point,yes everybody has one and yes 99.6 percent thinks they are fast.But if you notice that leaves us .4 percent that like hondas for what they are,cheap,nice,and great on gas.After my ek was stolen i learned my lesson,got me an 06 sti as a family car lol atleast thats what i told my wife and left the honda game.Now i own a teggy which i just take out on weekends and is not a money pit like before

But, on a good note, State Farm is a great insurance company. They worked with me on the aftermarket parts that I put on the car..... been my insurance company for 7 years.

I understand that. And I did put myself in the Swinging dick category. But, if that is your Corolla in your sig, yours is modded exactly like every other ae86 with money in it. So, I think my point is the car scene is fickle. Every different kind of car in the scene gets modded along certain lines that are deemed "cool."

Because everyone drive's Hondas, therefore everyone else knows how their car works because they also drive Hondas and know what mods are worth, where all the wiring is, how to get in through the door without damaging it, all of the interior space a kill switch can hide etc. They know WHERE to sell the parts, they know the target buyer for anyhting Honda is the most common. If they own the car at home they have all the time in the world to practice things on theirs.

Like, 90% of the time a car is stolen and the reason isnt that they keys were left in it (at least amungst the car community in Atlanta) it's a Honda Civic, or an Acura Integra. Not saying to buy another car, but just another reason on my personal list that I wouldn't buy one.
