    Default Awesome content, garbage quality pictures from PRI

    Went down to Orlando to PRI this past weekend...took in my camera, with the sole intent of just snapping a few shots of stuff that I enjoyed so when I talked about it later I could show how badass it was....except for the fact that my camera sucks, and I'm not a professional photographer, so get over it and drool over what is to come.

    Oh, and if you're expecting big Honda turbo setups, you might as well go somewhere else.

    However, if you're expecting 430ci LSx motors with twin 88mm Garretts...then this is the thread for you.

    Like this...


    Wastegate and merge collector money shot...


    2500hp Mustang...




    900 cubic inches of 'shut the fuck up'...


    This was the smaller of the two centrifugal blowers that Procharger had on display...


    And this was the bigger one...inlet was large enough to suck in a grapefruit, I shit you not.


    Banks Turbo Systems had some pretty crazy engines on display, including some boat engines...


    Wait, what's in the back?


    Oh, there's TWO of them back there...









    And at this point, I'm gonna let all that sink in before I drop the last 2 setups.









































    Giving it time, you may want to put your drink down so you don't choke...













    How about a compound turbo kit on a Duramax diesel...

    I would totally sell my gay 240 for the turbo LSx in the first picture. I wouldn't have anything left to put it into, but God dammit it would be awesome to have.

    No idea. It was on display in their Marine line, it didn't specify if it was a purpose built race motor or if it was just fire for effect. Banks had about 12 different engine setups on display.

    Damn that show was SOOOO much fun this year!!! That Procharger was insane. It was the ONLY thin gI took a pic of all weekend, lol. 3600hp capable...
    Did you not take a picture of the boat? Twin 1075hp twin supercharged engines. Only a $895,000 investment, lol.
    I saw both those diesel setup and followed piping for a good minute. Nice stuff.

    As you saw, my flash was pretty much only going to work for up close stuff. I had tried to take pictures of the cars, but they were looking AWFUL so on Day 2, I didn't bother taking pics of anything bigger than the display engines.

    But yes, I saw the boat you were talking about, and I can only imagine how that thing feels at full tilt.
