man I love these new ZR1's, especially with the cyber gray paint, it goes well with the carbon fiber.

I almost got that color in my C6 but they did not have it in a 6 speed so I got red.
Zr1s are amazing cars though.
I love everything about them except for the hood.

Love the cyber gray, would love the wheels if they weren't polished, and really don't care for exhibition hood insert. Overall, it's an amazing car.![]()

Absolutely awesome, I love that car, but id rather build up a C6 Z06 for the money!
never been a big fan of the wheels! Everything else is great!
I saw one in person at the last Caffeine and Octane. Some of my friends got to ride in it...

The seats look unbelievably cheap.
whats the price for a ZR1?
Who buys a ZR1 because of how nice the seats look![]()
the vette has always been a performer, so the seats and interior wasnt really a big deal when it comes down to it. Its not an excuse, but american cars always will come in last in the intrerior department. Like i said the viper has neon radio controls, knobs and buttons.

What's the point of a performance car if you're not held in place by the seats, regardless of how cheap the rest of the interior is? The dash could be made out of lego's and it still won't effect the performance or comfort of the car.
But then again we are Americans and apparently the least evolved on earth, could be a milk crate to sit on as long as it has a V8 with over 600hp.
So you're saying if it isnt a Lambo, Ferrari, Aston, or some other high end branded car, its total shit? Judging a car simply by its...seats...is kind of elitist.
Now I haven't owned one of those cars myself either, and you probably havent as well, but why on earth would you hate on a ZR1 so much just because of one simple shortcoming? While the price point of the ZR1 is a bit high, that aside, its an amazing machine. I think thats all they are saying.
I compared it to a $30,000 Volkswagen. Hardly a Lambo, Ferrari, or Aston. Any car with shitty seats is not a drivers car, period. A performance car should be built around the driver. These aren't 1960's automobiles. It's a high-performance car they are selling for over $110,000 so why does it have seats in it that probably cost them $300 to manufacturer? If they aren't capable of building something appealing and comfortable to a human then why not contract another company to do it? If Volkswagen can do it with a $30k car then why can they not with a $110k car?
I bet Recaro would outfit them with custom Sportster CS's for under $2k.
Instead of these things that look like they came out of a conversion van, and feel the same:
This debate isn't about looks, it's about creating a performance car for a driver.

I don't find the seats that bad and I sit in them every day, to each is their own though.
Not a big fan of the ZR1's
