Default THE 05 SATURN ION REDLINE

I understand it isn't the choice of many but for me... I'm happy with it. I did choose it over the Cobalt SS/SC due to the different look of it. Thought it looked more aggressive.

Here are pics of my 2005 Saturn ION Redline (for the haters)(yes cell phone pics):

B&G Springs, intake, painted stock wheels, hidden antenna mod, boost gauge, de-winged, painted valve cover and supercharger, and flat black accents.

Not a bad choice. Oil filter is a bitch to get to, IIRC.

Yeah, unfortunately I can't afford stage 2 yet. I will soon, hopefully. I admit the intake is the cheap Spectre shit from Autozone if that tells you what my budget is right now. LOL

I liked these at one point. They're not too shabby. Not what I'd drive, but doesn't mean I can't respect it. I am also on the bandwagon of suggesting new wheels.

^^ Yeah, I drew a frame of a man running on each fan blade. That is him running at idle

I had a friend that had a silver one and liked it. Vary fun car to drive and its fun when people have no idea what it has and then they hear that supercharger.

Since it is my first FI car I don't have much to compare the pull to but I think it pulls pretty good.

Real clean, I personally wouldn't have painted the stuff under the hood. But its not my car. Clean none the less.

Saturn has made cars that do that for a long time. The 3 door cars are kinda weird but cool. One long door on the pass side, and the drivers door has a shorter door, then a really short little pickup truck/Rx-8 door.

I kinda like these. My buddy in Houston had one and let me drive it...pretty fun, and I love the supercharger whine.

I'll never grow to like the center-mount gauges though. It's got the same shift knob my SAAB had though!

It's actually a really clever idea...makes rear seat entry SO much easier.

It's a Browns plate, he might be the only fan. To make it even worse there is Notre Dame plate holder on the back. It's been a tough year for him.

It's kind of interesting how your car uses the same engine as mine except mine is turbocharged. I think my car produces a little more power, but the head and block are the same. Where is the oil filter located on that? On my Saab is it to the right on the front of the engine.

Drivers side front of the engine... right under the stupidcharger.

Yeah, my father is from Youngstown, Ohio so we root for all Cleveland teams. My great-grandfather went to Notre Dame so we are HUGE fans of them also.

cjhutch: Funny, you say I may be the ONLY fan. The Browns actually have been given the honor of having the largest following worldwide.

It takes a TRUE fan to be a Cleveland sports fan. We have been through a lot. LOL
