great stuff in the OP.. Chad honestly i believe you have the skill to reproduce several of these images.. A decent amount of them come down to PP style and great glass..

#43 I used to see that Weismann all the time when I lived in Munich. That is the Munich stadium in picture too. Pretty cool, bringing back memories here.

yeah he has some real skills for sure. it breaks my heart because im not sure if i will ever get to that level

i like berry's style. most of his work is with a 200/2 and he does this thing.....focus on the car at F2 and shoot, then focus on the car at F10 and shoot. then use the car from the F10 exposure with the BG of the F2 exposure and it just gives a nasty DOF with a sharp subject that i like. theres another 1 or 2 shots from him there. the one of the veedub i personally liked cause how well the car pop'd from the BG. its far from the best shot of bunch, or even the top 20 of the bunch but i thought it was a decent shot. plus i was trying to get 50 photos for this thread LOL

Two things bug me on #27.

1) It's not level. It needs to be rotated clockwise 0.8 to 1 degree. It's one thing to be rotated to make the cars stance more appealing but in this case it's the wrong way.
2) The car was masked and the background darkened slightly, I do prefer that...however, the mask is not close enough to the car leaving a small halo around it. I can't believe someone took the time to process the photo but didn't rotate or mask closer to the car.

Composition is there, lighting is there, & reflections are good with no distractions...just needs better post processing to be up to par with most of the others.

I played with it some here to make it a little more dramatic...

Besides technique, another big part of why these are so appealing is location.

yeah his PP skills are somewhat......bland.....is the word i was going for.

i really like the colors in his edit but your right about it needed a rotation and i like the colors in your edit too.....they are just different edits with different styles ya know.

HOLY SHIT!!!! That's my old Z car. He's put new wheels on it and some other things. Smooth as fuck. That thing is all steel. There is no fiberglass anywhere on that car.

And Chad, your photo's still look great. Not poop. Their's look good as well. You are getting there man.
