    Default Clean ass Sierra...-updated

The owner is getting pictures done for it on saturday for a calendar. Believe he said he won March for a performancetrucks.net. So he wanted to get this thing looking good. Only have about 4 1/2 hours into it so far. He did not drop it off till late this afternoon. I will spend the whole day on it tomorrow, get a chemical on it tomorrow night, let it then sit overnight, then get 2 coats of wax on it before he picks it up saturday morning. Anyways here are just some shots I have so far. Will get more tomorrow and satuday. Then hopefully he will be able to add his from the photoshot on saturday when he gets those. '

    Engine Before:

    Engine After:

Some shots I could get of swirls in the paint...

    After:

This one if you look just right of the light, you notice a haze line. That was where I tapped off for my test area, but could not get a good shot with the camera phone!

Then just some general afters. Not great shots, but you can see the paint has a nice glossy/wet look to it. Will look even better once a sealant and two coats of wax go on it.

    UPDATE:

Well another 7 hours into it today...and everything is done up to two coats of wax, the chrome dressed, and tire shine on it in the morning.

    Random After:

Then some shots of it before washing it again, to remove any dust left on it, and any compound that might have gotten into areas.

    Interior Before:

Interior After (yes you really cant tell that big of a difference in the picture...but there is!)

THen some random good shots of afters that I was able to get...

Great reflection when the sun was coming up this morning...

Then the amount of water beading...and to think theres not any wax on it yet either!

    UPDATE FINISHED

either a griots garage, porter cable, flex, or meguiars polisher, a heavy, light and finishing pad. some good clay bar, followed up with with different combos of chemicals, then a really good durabile wax. You should be able to get all this listed for around $600. Then spend about 15-20 hours every 1-3 months on your car taking care of it.

lol washing your car is hardly the same as a full detail job like this (and others posted).
