Default Opinions on Black w/Blue Lip LS Mesh?

I know it is my car, but I just wanted some opinions. I used paint to edit the pic, so yeah, it kind of sucks, but you get the idea!

    Keep em stock

    or black with blue lip?

It's a much brighter blue in the pic than I would actually paint it. Can someone photoshop it for me? Windows Paint FTL. That would be great!

black makes wheels makes a wheel look like a hubcab from a distance imo

not sure what else would work. maybe white? blue lip is a nice touch though especially since that seems to be the theme youre shooting for

Stock 100%. Only do colored wheels/lips if there is something on your vehicle that ties in that color. Otherwise you look like you just bought some wheels like that and slapped them on the car. Same effect as someone putting on a non-painted body kit.

good point. It would match the engine bay, and that's about it.

Blue, Black, And Silver go well together IMO

But it all depends. I like either way, and one way involves less work...

the bright orange would fine if the lips outer edge was striped but not the inner well

    Are you being sarcastic? LOL

I can't picture what you mean. Blue on a silver car go well IMO, but orange...not so much.

True. No sense in "trashing" good stock wheels. Like I said, it's just testing waters.

But if I could find a nice quality set of rims, black with a blue lip, then I would be all over that.

Dude, you can get those wheels for under 800 bucks with tires.....

Get that stock shit off your car and get some wheels. So tired of played out stock wheels trying to be passed off as cool.

rough up the lip a little so the paint will stick, then mix clearcoat with a little bit of blue and just do the lip, It will look like its anodized blue. or I could do it but I charge

x2. Why don't you just buy the wheels you posted?

Save some money, buy quality stuff. No one will be impressed by shoddily painted stock wheels.

No they won't. Stock wheels are not impressive in the least, no matter if you polish em, pain em or gold plate em.

If you painted photo-realistic naked porno stars all the way around the lips and made the centers where they squirted out Vodka and Red Bull on command, I would be impressed with stock wheels. Other than that, not a chance.

this might be different for mustangs but i couldnt afford black bullitts on my car so i took the time and painted my silver bullitts(OEM) right. not rattle can bull shit, or that duplicolor can paint but a true Base/Clear paint job on em. took me 2 days but it will take a chizzle to get the paint of my wheels.

it also helps working at a paint/body shop lol

It would most definately be different, but a combination thats REALLY easy to make it look bad.... i guess if it looks bad, you could always go back and use some Aircraft remover on em, GL
