He's just saying the general population has no clue about BMW's on here...other then "they're expensive". Honestly it's not that difficult or that expensive. I've just been taking my time buying and trading parts as I go so theoretically this car isn't costing me anything. Being "unemployed" twice in the past year doesn't help either lol! I've made back about 75% of what I have put into it though, will be 100% if I sell a few more parts I have acquired since starting the project...or I'll just trade those for something else I need or want on the car lol!

Sure I could go out and pay a shop $5k to do the swap including an M50/52 but what's the fun in that?! The big money will be getting the turbo going...then after that a custom body i've had practically every square inch designed & planned out for the past year lol! I'm positive I'll be getting a new shell for that to build it from scratch...

Lol, I didn't have the time or resources to do the swap on my M3, but I did have the cash so I paid TRM $5,200 or so to do it for me. Looks OEM,lol.

Any BMW engine in any BMW looks OEM lol! And they all fit in each other using OEM parts. People think Honda's are lego's...ha!

    It's so beautiful...e36 s62.

That engine in an e46 would be amazing.

IA seems more entertained with four cylinders than anything else, let alone bmw swaps. either way i'd love to see the full build and what all is in store
