All those traits you listed for the Bimmer are subjective to the person. To me, that Corolla looks much better than the M3. I have never really liked the newer body styles of these Bimmers. The old car is comfortable to me, fast enough for me (i don't care about speed) and looks much more rugged and mean to me. Just my opinion. You should know I'd go for that car ovr the M3 knowing my love of old school. Later, QD.

Whether or not you could afford the service was not the question. Plus the M3 would still have a warranty. If given to you for free, no one can honestly say they would take the Corolla. You could sell the M3's wheels and tires and buy another Corolla...I myself would take the M3, sell it for 5k under dealer price, upgrade to a C6 ZO6 and use the left over money to Procharge it and put wheels on...
