    Default Classic Shaggin Wagon

Just got me a VW BUS. . Broke down right after taking this picture. Ended up having to push start it, damn semi new battery was bad. Me and a buddy were going up in North Georgia via the back road and found this abandon house . Rest are for entertainment purpose.

I know you're the infamous QD but I think he knows that's not a wagon. He's restored at least 5 of them and still own 2. It's just a title.

I didn't ask about his history.

I should have mentioned that thing looks great. I've always wanted one. Wasn't meant to be taken as a diss. Just stating the facts. Later, QD.

Haha, QD..Sorry to burst your bubble man, but THAT IS A WAGON.

Sometimes, the word wagon is also used for railroad cars (not motorized, for goods or passengers) and the word is a part / the usual short form of station wagon, the non-British term for a sedan (saloon) with an extended rear cargo area. Other names: estate (car) / shooting brake (UK), break (F), station sedan (Aus), Kombi (generally in German, in English also varied to combi), Variant (VW models), Caravan (GM's Opel models), Avant (Audi's wagons), Touring (BMW's wagons).
If you want to see the rest of the definition of WAGON it is located here. http://www.answers.com/topic/wagon

However the proper term is BUS...but for most people they call it a VAN which is incorrect.

Is a paddy wagon not a wagon? It's a "van" but it's called a wagon.

    Wagon
5: a car that has a long body and rear door with space behind rear seat [syn: beach wagon, station wagon, beach waggon, station waggon, waggon]

Note: In the United States, light wagons are used for the conveyance of persons and light commodities.

I found a few random VW VIN's on the internet and ran a carfax on them just to see how they describe it, as in how it is registered...

    VIN: WV2XB0255FH099895
    Vehicle: 1985 VOLKSWAGEN VANAGON KOMBI

    VIN: WV2ZB0250HH004963
    Vehicle: 1987 VOLKSWAGEN VANAGON CAMPMOBILE

    VIN: WV2MC070XPH114633
    Vehicle: 1993 VOLKSWAGEN EUROVAN MV

But all that doesn't matter considering no matter what it's called, a volkswagen will always have wagon, err wagen, in it's name

I didn't see where any bubble was busted as I read a bit about this vehicle and saw no mention of it being termed a wagon.

But that's neither here nor there.

I have always known, and called it, the VW Bus. It sucks, though that you took the time to only address the part where you thought I was purposely being negative and steered clear of where I complimented your new vehicle. Later, QD.

So I guess it is wrong if I referred to it as a FAT CHICK too?

On a side note, seriously I have more women stopping me and asking me more about this vehicle than any other vehicles I had in the past. WTF?

I like the first years with the 21/23 windows the best. Have you pics of the others you've owned?

Split 21/23 windows are going for 40k on Ebay. . There is a beat up one locally that he/she is asking 14k. Thats a lot of money for a rust bucket.
