    bad or good I want to see them. you guys have seen all of mine, and they are all sold

    started out with the rustoleum home depot job outside in the cold.






    moved on to real paint.






    and the crx, wasn't too proud of it but it works.

    I rather learn to paint my own car then to drive it primed out. I hate primed cars

    i dont have any pics of all the cars i've painted, i paint at a body shop doing OEM refinishing so theres no real point in me taking pics. anways it looks good, looks like you learned a lot and have progressed to a pretty decent painter man.

    Oh i found 1 that i thought was kinda cool some year AMC.

    yo i just noticed, for a cleaner paint job and less material usage you should try and remove most of the parts on the car, like the door handles, and the window mouldings and door mouldings it should help with the clear build up and it looks cleaner.

    poly based paints also help. i sprayed dimont(sp?) at teh shop i use to work at and i swear you could pannel paint a car with that stuff. mixed 2-1.

    yea we use standox paints and everything is mixed 2:1 base/clear

    it really is worth it in the end, well on things that you see with horrible paint everywhere like a crx. I never see any just pass me by that look almost new.

    Sometimes I think that I would have enjoyed doing paint and bodywork a lot more than I do studying electrical engineering.

    ...could not stand the yellow, too flashy, too ATL for me...

    went with a hotrod black lacquer primer, $25 later this is how it looks now:

    thanks dudes! The color is actually root beer metallic from the honda element sc, but with a little twist....

    paint used was basf, wagenwerks did the work...
