Yes they are with Eshift.. I really dont care.. my car is a commuter car.. I dont race it.. Everyone gets so strung up on the Automatic transmission thing. I really dont understand. I enjoy sitting in traffic not having to mess with a clutch. I can understand if you race.. but even if you just drag race and your car has boost.. you dont lose boost with an automatic.. thats why youll see a lot of the Supra drag cars with autos.. I here people say it is just more fun.. I think it is just the "accepted" transmisson type for guys. 90% of people dont realize you can do the same thing with an auto transmission as you can a manual. If you race it.. i.e. SCCA, Drift, Time Attack, etc.. I can understand. But most people truely dont and they just frown bc it is a dreaded automatic. I am also not saying people on here dont race their cars... I am simply stating their are a lot of people who dont that still frown on it. I say make it look good.. perform well.. and enjoy it.

It's all about control for me, and the engine compression braking, and the fun of heeltoe downshifting, putting me in the gear I want to be, when I want to be in it. no worry about the ECU doing a kick-down at the right time, not worrying about the computer shifting up when I lift really quickly before putting my foot BACK down, etc.
