Default Updated E30 Pics y0...mAd TyGht JDM Isshshhh

Just thought I'd throw a few new pics out, nothing much new, gutted getting ready for cage, no more roof rack (duh), that's about it. Will be cleaning up the front lip soon to make it fit a tad better, but it does its purpose. Will also be using it for some brake duct routing.

I really like this car, but no matter how much cleaning up you do the front lip will never look right. Just buy an factory valence and be done with it. It won't mount with zip ties and you can run factory ducting

It's not going to be mounted with zip ties, I really don't like stock E30 valences. I love the way this one works.

BTW they don't have factory brake ducts, not real ducts.

He posted up here saying it was a roll on or spray paint I forget which.

It's not retarded if it's tracked a lot, done it many times.

Well we know that he is an idiot, it's maaco. buddy of mine was who took it there for paint like 3 owners ago. And yes, a street car with a cage is moronic and if you wreck you will see why.

I know about cages and street cars, my head will be quite a bit under any bars, which will be padded. I know the neck can stretch. It won't be driven everyday anywhere, just some days, to work which isn't a long drive, etc. I take the 5 series everywhere else.

Naw won't be running the NASA event, I am trying to run the MVP event though. I just want to do one day to kind of "break in" the car, don't want to spend all the money for two days if it breaks on day one, NASA said no to running one day.

I plan on getting some other wheels to put track tires on and just use these for the street.

Depends on the size of the driver, the seat and the placement of it, and always wearing a properyl fitted harness...other than that you just have to worry about the leg/knee getting beat up if there are door bars.

If they're wearing just a regular seatbelt they're f'd lol!

I lol everytime someone says a cage in a street cage is dangerous. Its not at all. If you mount your seat where the seat should be, and the harness where it should be, there is nothing to worry about.
