    Back in 1998 and 1999, catching this championship was the #1 reason i started to watch Speedvision. (God i miss those pre Nascar infested days)

    Anyone remember Bobby Archer's Viper and Pete Cunniningham's BMW?

    This was the first championship i followed.
    Wow, I was 12-13 years old when these cars were running. That Viper was still a little rough around the edges IIRC, not nearly the car that they are currently. I always rooted for Terry Borcheller in the Saleen and Galati later on in the A4. Awesome racing back then

    Don't forget about Derek Bell in the other A4 IN 2000

    Ahhh I loved when Bell was running, I remember at Petit he spun, was PISSED you could hear him from behind the fence, got it restarted and went on a mission.

    One of the pics I took that year, I have one of him spinning.
