Default my nissan hardbody build thread.

ok i thought i would start a build thread. here are some pictures from the day i bought it until now. i am planning on painting it in the next couple of weeks. its red but i hate red so its going to be the bluesh silver color that comes on a scion tc. anyways on to the pic's.
    the day i bought it.

    after a good washing

the cab was ported so i traded beds for one that didnt have the hole in it.

getting ready for the 4x4 fenders

fixed all the little dings in the cab.

    more dings

also got rid of the toyota bumper and added pathfinder mirrors.

My old Yota was 5lub I used the CobraR's and some 300zx wheels. When you swap use the Yota conversion for sure.

I think it looks great red. If the Escalade wheels look good, trends shouldn't affect you keeping them!

I love it. It should look real good when you're done.

If you get rid of the big ass wheels. 15" wheels would be perfect to get that thing clser to the asphalt.

    Good job, though. Later, QD.

yea but i hate looking like every other hardbody. the wheels look good and there the easiest way of getting the factorys off because of the bolt pattern. thats why so many hardbodys have them.

I didn't know that! I'm sure you've thought of it, but perhaps the new Escalade 22s?

i thought about 16's. i must have missed your post. i thought you would like it because of the list of past vehicles you have owned. the fact that we are closer to the same age and was around for the mini truck days.

Oh yeah I like it, lolol. The truck is too new for my tastes in mini-trucking, but at least it's an import. Toyota, Mazda and Nissan are the true mini-trucker's trucks.

And don't think it's too new that I wouldn't drive it. I'd drive the shit out of it, man. Do it good, homey.

    +89 for you. Later, QD.

oh yea, it will be done nice and simple as far as looks goes. no wild ass paint jobs or anything. just a nice base coat/clear and some different wheels and its done. its not much but +11 for you also.

That's understandable. A buddy of mine shaved his handles on his DD. The only problem he ever had with them was "locking" the keys in the truck lol. 6'5"? Good god, I'm only 6' and I can't handle a single cab. Keep up the good work. I'd love to see the finished product.

I didn't see where you said a color. Have you decided yet? Also, the suspension...any plans?
