Your own car is a prime example. The RX7, Supra and the Z were all Poor Mans Porsches. They were made to put the common feller, like you and me, into a car that could run with a Porsche. Enter that crazy electronic explosion era called the 1980's and the cars started to bloat out like a dead whale. The packed them full of gizmos and added the dollars to the stickers to reflects that.
Continue to the late 80's and then the early 90's and the prices for them new had reached $40k. That spelled the end of them. Then after a renewed interest in them, they started to make em again.
It's the same thing with this piece of crap. A Boxer Engined Toyota successor to the 86? Laugh. The boxer is a wonderful powerplant, but not in a Toyota vehicle that has such a lineage. Like I said, that would be like coming out with a successor to the RX-7 and filling it with a V6. Stupid.
