    Default Custom Supercharged NSX Picture + Video

    If the NSX was designed after an F-16 than it should sound like a F-16 taking off. What do you guys think about the sound when it's about 4k RPM? Sounds similar to a Jet?

    As much as I dislike those jets, it does kinda sound like a F-16 at times and that's cool for a NSX. Nice car, do you know the power it's putting out or did you just find the vid?

    Thats really an awesome and beautiful car, but whats with all the secrecy? Its a centri blower... by the sound of it, it sounds simliar to a Procharger. Its too loud to be a Vortec, and it sure isnt a roots or TS.

    Put down a little over 500 to the wheels. It's got a stock motor and clutch was slipping. SS box sucks so AEM is on it's way including everything from block to head. Planning to put down over 700 HP when it's complete. I'm in no rush to install anything yet since I haven't driven the car for quit some time now. Took the new ZO6 by surprise by almost 3 cars on Bf goodrich G Force Ta KDW when I drove it in May of this year.


    No one can guess the Supercharger? I'll let you guys guess a little more. Interesting replies though.

    yeah, especially when i'm not aware of any charger that will make 500whp on a nsx....not saying it cant be done, just gotta be something special

    Well this charger said it'll make more than 500 whp on a NSX. Actually it supports up to 800 HP but I think that's killing it. You won't be able to find the specs on Vortech's page

    Not bad of a car but i would like to see this car against alex's car i must say his car is a little more tasteful to my liken but my taste has nothing to do with power..
    I check sluts off my list like a maintnence man
    I drive a low is3 just so it gives me a reason to drive super slow on these rough ga roads.

    I am going to go ahead and call bullshit on your numbers! Stock NSX make about 280bph! So I highly doubt the stock motor could over double its power. On top of a 5 Series Vortec SC are all rated to around 550-600hp. It would take a V-1, V-4, V-7, V-24, or V-27 COG style charger to get up into the 800+hp range.

    so your telling me that you have some special belt driven vortech supercharger that can make into the 800hp range, but yet vortech doesnt list it on there site....

    Why not just post your dyno graph, or your stock motor that has over doubled its power, with no internal mods. that or list all your mods. Because even a roots style charger on a stock NSX only add 70rwhp!
