That is so f'n sick!!!!!!!
Bad ass.
Minus that stupid fucking oil cooler.
Repost like a muh! But more pics is more win. In fact I was just thinking about this car like 2 nights ago. So, reps!
I though that was an intercooler......
LULZ
My cousins got one of these, I'm trying to get it from him. Nice looking throwback auto.
lovin the itb setup
riding low is like a religion
Two of the air horns are blocked by the strut tower........
^^ Yeah, I drew a frame of a man running on each fan blade. That is him running at idle
Why mount it out there? For DIRECT air cooling,, by your reasoning why run a drag car with an intercooler and no front bumper? Ever seen a Skyline GT-R with dual side mount oil coolers? They aren't protected for shit, neither are these. This was a racing thing for Japan in the old days, the cars were all high rpm screamers, thus the need for a large and adequately cooled oil supply, any more questions, Google it. For someone who proclaims to be the end all be all you sure are ignorant about the OG shit.
Cool, thats what i figured. thanks for the info.
So i guess this guy built the car as a reproduction of the old jap racers. Pretty cool, but i still think the hoses could of been routed better. He has 90 degree fitting pointed out and away from the car, like hes trying to make as much hose as possible stick out of the car.
Mine really dosn't leave the garage. People across the street think it is a tool bench.
nvm, figured it out.
Was trying to figure out what that other cooler is. must be PS or tranny. it doesn't appear to be factory either.

I want that car...
Everyone has their opinions, but external oil coolers are a major part of the theme and history of these style cars.

Properly Ducted cooler > Open Element Cooler
Didn't come to mind to flip the oil cooler and just run the lines immediately behind the bumper?

Battle Ready Oil coolers are rape

I dunno if I'm down with the oil-cooler thing, but for the sake of argument, this Celica still looks fkn' baddass old school, and I LIKE IT.
